Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- minimum one to two years of experience in food service industry
- ability to physically perform cooking and cleaning duties
- willingness to work per diem schedule with weekend and evening availability
- emotional resilience and sensitivity to end-of-life care environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- minimum one to two years experience in the food service industry or a combination of education and experience providing comparable knowledge and skills
- comfort with the physical emotional and psychological needs of individuals who are dying as well as their family
- clear interest in training in end-of-life care field
Job Duties
- Prepare three daily meals including snacks and desserts for residents
- plan nutritious menus
- assist with clean-up
- maintain inventory of stock items for kitchen and household
- generate shopping lists for volunteer shoppers
- maintain and organize sanitary conditions of the kitchen
- ensure proper food preparation and storage
- perform other duties as requested by supervisor
