McClure Miller Respite House is a compassionate healthcare facility dedicated to providing comfort and care to individuals nearing the end of life. As part of the University of Vermont Health Network, this respite house offers a supportive, home-like environment where residents and their families can find solace, dignity, and specialized care during some of their most challenging moments. The role of Cook at McClure Miller Respite House is a meaningful and impactful position that goes beyond just meal preparation. In this role, the Cook will prepare three daily meals, including snacks and desserts, tailored to the unique nutritional requirements of the residents. Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- minimum one to two years of experience in food service industry
- ability to physically perform cooking and cleaning duties
- willingness to work per diem schedule with weekend and evening availability
- emotional resilience and sensitivity to end-of-life care environment

Job Duties
