Job Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to safely lift 40-50 lbs unassisted and 51-100 lbs with assistance
- Stand for extended periods of 4-10 hours

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One-year external experience as a Cook or one-year internal experience as a Prep Cook
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with others
- Good phone etiquette
- Possess acceptable written and verbal communication skills in English
- Highly organized

Job Duties
- Assist customers with their orders
- Preparation of hot and cold foods including grilling items for plate lunches
- In-house kitchen cooking
- Cooking hot items and scratch baking
- Making sandwiches, salads, bentos, and other hot and cold foods
- Transportation of grilled foods and bakery merchandising
- Packing and stocking bakery and service deli items
- Cutting prepared meats for line service
- Performing quality control
- Understanding and abiding by all company policies and procedures
- Packing, rotating, and labeling all prepared foods
- Restocking soaps, sanitizers, and chemicals
- Restocking plastic and paper goods, drinks, and condiments
- Setup and breakdown of service line
- Cleaning including washing dishes, trash disposal, sanitation, sweeping, and mopping
- Answering department phone
- Making store announcements regarding kitchen specials
- Performing product demonstrations
- Completing any other tasks deemed necessary by management
