Job Duties

  • develop knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures and methods (grill, sautée and fry)
  • experience using knives and various kitchen equipment
  • reach and recreate recipes
  • maintain consistency in all food preparation
  • minimize food waste through cross utilization
  • work with culinary leadership to create seasonal menus
  • prepare ingredients including chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat
  • keep a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment
  • ensure proper storage of all food and items
  • maintain quality of ingredients
