Job Requirements

  • minimum of one year of experience in a food service environment
  • high school diploma preferred
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • basic math skills
  • food handler's permit as required by law
  • brand certification as required
  • ability to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods

Job Duties

  • follow recipes accurately ensuring portion control and proper presentation of dishes
  • maintain an organized and efficient kitchen and work station during each shift including managing fresh dry and frozen goods
  • properly handle store and rotate stored products to maintain quality
  • be responsible for the set-up cleaning and proper functioning of kitchen equipment and machines
  • oversee the daily supply cutting and storage of perishable goods to ensure product quality
  • complete control sheets for opening in-progress and closing tasks as required
  • keep the work area and storage spaces clean and organized by properly washing and storing utensils and bins
