The role of Cook IV (PM Shift) at Hyatt Regency O'Hare Chicago is a vital position responsible for preparing food items in line with standardized recipes that uphold the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will be proficient in preparing meals that are both appealing and appetizing, while ensuring strict compliance with food safety regulations. As a Cook IV, you will oversee the preparation of meals according to brand standards and guidelines, maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, and partake in food storage and rotation according to hotel procedures. The position requires completing station preparations prior to restaurant opening to provide seamless and prompt guest service during operating hours. Additionally, the role demands knowledge of all safety equipment location and operation to ensure a safe working environment. Maintaining sanitation and minimizing waste while maximizing cost-production ratios are also key responsibilities.

Job Duties
- Prepares meals in accordance with brand standards and guidelines
- Comply with certification requirements as applicable to position to include Food Handlers Safety Training
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all areas in accordance with State Board of Health regulations
- Complete necessary food and station preparations prior to opening of the restaurant to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently during the operating hours
- Know the location and operation of all safety equipment
- Assist in storage and rotation of food items according to hotel procedures
- Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen and work areas while minimizing waste and maximizing cost production ratio
- Other duties as assigned
