Job Requirements

  • Physical capability to perform tasks that may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
  • Ability to wear uniforms and/or use personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Commitment to follow food safety and sanitation protocols
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Willingness to take on evolving job duties as assigned
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as a cook or in a related role
  • Validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations
  • Must be able to acquire food safety certification
  • Demonstrate basic math and counting skills
  • Demonstrate interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
  • Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
  • Safely use a variety of utensils including knives
  • Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers
  • Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
  • Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines
  • Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests and co-workers
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation
  • Ensure security of company assets
