Job Requirements

  • One year cooking experience required
  • Ability to accept and understand verbal and written instructions
  • Willingness to help with work that needs to be done
  • Ability to maintain high standards of food quality and portion control
  • Ability to clean and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Ability to take initiative to identify and solve problems
  • Ability to supervise dietary staff in manager's absence

Job Qualifications

  • One year cooking experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Culinary Arts degree preferred
  • Completion of state or local food safety training course preferred
  • Healthcare experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Accepting and understanding both verbal and written instructions
  • Providing high quality food preparation and service
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment to meet department standards
  • Maintaining high standards of quality food production and portion control
  • Demonstrating a willingness to help with work that needs to be done
