Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in pastry or bakery cooking
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to develop new pastry products
  • Good physical stamina

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a pastry cook or baker in a hotel or restaurant setting
  • Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and presentation
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain quality standards
  • Strong attention to detail and creativity
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations

Job Duties

  • Prepare pastry food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
  • Stock, maintain and ensure proper storage and refrigeration of an adequate supply of all prepared product
  • Develop new products for a-la-carte and catering menus, as needed
  • Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
  • Display and set baked products on mobile carts according to specifications
  • Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items
