We are currently seeking a dedicated Cafeteria Cook to join our esteemed Culinary Team. This individual will play a vital role in preparing various menu items and ensuring the highest quality of food served in our cafeteria dining outlet. This role not only involves cooking but also delivering excellent service by maintaining food safety standards and a clean working environment. The ideal candidate will help uphold the Waldorf Astoria reputation by preparing delicious, high-quality dishes using designated recipes and adhering to strict presentation and safety guidelines. The Cafeteria Cook will be responsible for preparing guest orders efficiently, supporting other kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks such as salads, sides, and breakfast items, and inspecting dishes to ensure they meet the resort’s high standards. Maintaining an organized and sanitary workspace while following food handling and storage regulations is essential to this position. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking experience in a cafeteria or food service setting preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and prepare food according to standards
