Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • at least 1 year of related work experience
  • ability to operate kitchen equipment including ovens stoves grills microwaves and fryers
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to stand sit or walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • ability to follow company safety and security policies

Job Qualifications

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning chopping and storing food
  • wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
  • weigh measure and mix ingredients
  • prepare and cook food according to recipes quality standards and presentation standards
  • operate ovens stoves grills microwaves and fryers
  • test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently
  • monitor food quality while preparing food
