We are currently seeking skilled Asian Station Cooks to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly utilizing specialized kitchen equipment and mastering Asian cooking techniques such as Pho preparation, wok station operations, stir-fry, and assisting with sushi station preparations. This position requires maintaining high standards of food taste, presentation, safety, and sanitation, adhering strictly to ServSafe standards and time/temperature controls. The Asian Station Cook plays a vital role in ensuring guest satisfaction by preparing a la carte and buffet menu items within a bustling kitchen environment.

This full-time role demands a candidate who is at least 21 years old, possesses prior Asian cooking experience, and demonstrates advanced knowledge of Asian culinary methods. The job includes regular standing, walking, reaching, lifting of up to 50 pounds, and exposure to various kitchen conditions such as heat, humidity, and moderate noise. Certification in ServSafe Alcohol training is required to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three months to one year related experience or training
  • Prior Asian cooking experience required
  • Ability to read simple sentences and recognize basic numerical data
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, reach hands and arms, frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts and varying environmental conditions
  • ServSafe Alcohol training certification required

Job Qualifications

  • One to three months to one year related experience or training
  • Prior Asian wok or Asian culinary experience required

Job Duties

  • Utilize all Noodle Bar Station equipment and kitchen tools to an advanced level
  • Maintain thorough knowledge and execution of Asian cooking styles including Pho, wok station, stir-fry
  • Ensure Asian product taste, presentation, and quality exceed customer expectations and standards
  • Assist with Sushi station preparations as needed
  • Prepare a la carte and buffet food items, assisting cooks and Sous Chefs as directed
  • Adhere to cleanliness and sanitation standards per ServSafe guidelines
  • Monitor and maintain proper time and temperature controls for food safety
