Job Duties
- Prepare plate and platter presentations for banquets
- prepare cold foods

- prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- prepare and cook food
- weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
- wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- monitor food quality during preparation and throughout the day
- test foods for proper cooking
- ensure food items meet quality standards and notify manager if not
- wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
- set up and break down work station
- check and ensure correctness of appliance and food temperatures
- follow all company safety and security policies
- report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to manager
- complete safety training and certifications
- maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
- maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- protect company assets
- welcome guests according to company standards
- anticipate and address guests’ service needs
- communicate clearly and professionally
- answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
- develop and maintain positive working relationships
