Job Requirements

Culinary degree or equivalent hotel cooking experience
two years of prior line cooking experience preferred
California Food Handlers Certification
ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight
good communication skills
ability to multitask under pressure

Job Duties

Prepare meals according to Hyatt standards
work at single stations such as omelet, grill, and sauté
manage multiple cooking tasks for banquets and outlets
maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety
assist with food inventory and storage
cooperate with kitchen team to ensure timely meal service
comply with health and safety regulations
