This opportunity is for the role of Cook II at Sodexo’s BSA Hospital location. This position is an on-call part-time role offering flexible work hours with open availability for any shift, providing the ideal scheduling adaptability for individuals seeking work-life balance. As a Cook II, you will play a vital role in the food preparation and service operations at the hospital. Your responsibilities will include accurately preparing, portioning, cooking, and presenting a variety of hot and cold food items for different meal periods such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events. The role may also involve operating a grill station, serving customers at an a la carte line, and supporting management in overseeing daily kitchen functions and employees. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare portion cook and present a variety of hot and cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast lunch dinner and special catered events
  • Read and follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing various food items
  • Prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and or operate a grill station
  • Support management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned depending on business needs and client requirements
