Job Requirements

  • four years of cooking experience or two years relevant experience with high school diploma or equivalent
  • preferred six months of food services or healthcare experience
  • ServSafe Manager food safety certification within one year of hire
  • ability to work varied shifts including weekends
  • no remote work capability
  • physical ability to perform food preparation tasks

Job Qualifications

  • high school graduate or equivalent
  • relevant experience in cooking or food services
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • ability to work multiple stations
  • leadership and training skills
  • preferred experience in healthcare food services
  • ServSafe Manager food safety certification within one year of hire

Job Duties

  • prepare foods according to standardized recipes and production methods
  • ensure safe and sanitary food handling during preparation, service, and storage
  • conduct daily quality control checks on taste, temperature, and presentation
  • work multiple production stations
  • train and orient selected staff on food production and safety practices
  • lead food production in absence of Executive Chef
  • perform other related duties as necessary
