Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Four years of professional food production experience
  • Washington State Food and Beverage Service Worker’s Permit obtained within 15 days of employment
  • Ability to work full-time hours
  • Knowledge of health and safety food standards
  • Capability to maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen environments

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Four years of professional food production experience
  • Washington State Food and Beverage Service Worker’s Permit obtained within 15 days of employment
  • Culinary degree or formalized apprenticeship preferred
  • Experience in food production within catering, hotel, or hospital settings preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare food products using basic and advanced cooking techniques
  • Follow standard recipes and plating guidelines
  • Meet production schedules while adhering to health, safety, and sanitary procedures
  • Manage production, storage, and proper utilization of food and supplies
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of kitchen equipment, supplies, and work areas
  • Participate in recipe and menu development and improvement initiatives
  • Showcase culinary skills and food products
