Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • four years of professional food production experience
  • Washington State Food and Beverage Service Worker’s Permit or ability to obtain within 15 days of employment

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent experience
  • four years of professional food production experience
  • Washington State Food and Beverage Service Worker’s Permit obtained within 15 days of employment
  • culinary degree or formalized apprenticeship preferred
  • experience in food production in catering, hotel, or hospital settings preferred

Job Duties

  • prepare food products using basic and advanced cooking techniques
  • follow standard recipes and plating guidelines
  • meet production schedules in accordance with health, safety and sanitary procedures
  • manage production, storage, and proper utilization of food and supplies
  • maintain organization and cleanliness of equipment, supplies, and work areas throughout the shift
  • participate in improvement work including recipe and menu development
  • showcase culinary skills and products
