Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients including portioning chopping and storing food
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- Weigh measure and mix ingredients
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes quality standards and presentation standards
- Prepare cold foods
- Operate ovens stoves grills microwaves and fryers
- Test foods to determine if sufficiently cooked
- Monitor food quality
- Set up and break down work station
- Serve food in proper portions
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area tables tools knives and equipment
- Check temperature of appliances and food
- Follow company safety and security policies
- Report maintenance needs accidents injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Maintain professional appearance
- Protect company assets
- Use clear and professional language
- Develop and maintain positive work relationships
- Support team goals
- Respond appropriately to employee concerns
- Stand sit or walk for extended periods
- Perform physical tasks including bending lifting and carrying objects up to 25 pounds
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
