Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • prior experience within a high-quality restaurant, country club, hotel or senior living company preferred
  • basic knife skills
  • ability to handle kitchen equipment
  • use a Point of Sale (POS) system
  • possess or be willing and able to obtain Food Handler certificate
  • must possess a valid and current driver’s license, where applicable

Job Duties

  • Assist in preparing all types of food while maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary work area
  • assist with receiving and stocking deliveries using proper rotational practices
  • may assist kitchen attendant as needed
  • maintain kitchen safety and cleanliness standards
  • handle kitchen equipment safely
  • use a Point of Sale (POS) system to support order and inventory management
