Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a line cook or kitchen position
- Current health card credentialing
- Ability to comply with sanitation and hygiene standards
- Ability to work full-time hours
- Pass a criminal background check
- Eligibility to work verified by E-Verify
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a line cook or similar role in a professional kitchen
- Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety standards
- Ability to follow recipes and production procedures accurately
- Strong understanding of sanitation and hygiene practices
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
Job Duties
- Prepare food served using established production procedures and systems
- Understand and comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen policies and procedures
- Comply with established sanitation, personal hygiene and health standards
- Maintain current health card credentialing and have in possession at all times
- Report necessary equipment repair and maintenance to Executive Chef
- Handle, store and rotate all products properly
- Follow proper plate presentation and garnish procedures
- Assist in food prep assignments
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, ovens, flat top, refrigeration equipment
