Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a line cook or kitchen position
  • Current health card credentialing
  • Ability to comply with sanitation and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work full-time hours
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Eligibility to work verified by E-Verify

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as a line cook or similar role in a professional kitchen
  • Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and production procedures accurately
  • Strong understanding of sanitation and hygiene practices
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace

Job Duties

  • Prepare food served using established production procedures and systems
  • Understand and comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen policies and procedures
  • Comply with established sanitation, personal hygiene and health standards
  • Maintain current health card credentialing and have in possession at all times
  • Report necessary equipment repair and maintenance to Executive Chef
  • Handle, store and rotate all products properly
  • Follow proper plate presentation and garnish procedures
  • Assist in food prep assignments
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, ovens, flat top, refrigeration equipment
