Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
  • Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation procedures
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Job Duties

  • Assist with preparation of meal ingredients including washing peeling cutting and assembling food items
  • Receive orders from kitchen point of sale and understand operation of point-of-sale system
  • Follow recipe standards and dietary restrictions to prepare meals
  • Provide accurate meal descriptions to guests with continued knowledge of menu
  • Adhere to proper food handling sanitation safety and personal hygiene and health standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas equipment and food storage
  • Maintain food bars and communicate production needs to manager or chef on duty
  • Report necessary equipment repair and maintenance to kitchen manager
