Job Requirements

Valid Yavapai County Health Department food handlers card
Ability to work long hours standing
Capability to work in extreme heat and on slippery surfaces
Must adhere to occupational safety standards and use personal protective equipment when required

Job Qualifications

Minimum three years of kitchen experience
Able to work various stations with minimal supervision
Prior grill and broiler experience
Skilled in preparing soups and sauces
Ability to produce high-quality products quickly under pressure
Self-motivated, organized, fast, and even-tempered
Knowledge of occupational safety and health practices

Job Duties

Prepare menu items to order in an advanced capacity on assigned station
Maintain a clean and organized station at all times
Adhere to approved food-handling techniques and comply with health department regulations
Cook and serve all menu items following designated recipes and procedures
Clean and break down station thoroughly at the end of meal service and shifts
Communicate with supervisors regarding special projects or instructions
Perform job-related tasks as directed by supervisors
