This role is for a Food Preparation Worker at Renaissance Hotels located in Austin, Texas, specifically at 9721 Arboretum Blvd. The position is full-time and non-management, offering an hourly wage of $20.72. The job is not remote, requiring onsite presence to ensure the smooth operation of the culinary services. The primary responsibility of this role involves preparing ingredients for cooking, which includes chopping, portioning, and storing food items appropriately. Detailed duties include washing and peeling fresh fruits and vegetables, measuring and mixing ingredients, cooking food according to recipes and quality standards, operating various kitchen appliances such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers, and preparing cold foods. Job Duties

- set-up and break down work station
- serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles

- check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food
- follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
- report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
- complete safety training and certifications
