Job Requirements
- Experience as a cook or in a related role
- Knowledge of basic principles of food preparation and various cooking methods
- Understanding of food safety regulations including accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage
- Ability to acquire food safety certification
- Basic math and counting skills
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- Physical capability to perform duties involving lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking and standing
- Ability to use personal protective equipment
- Willingness to wear a uniform

- Validated knowledge of food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Ability to acquire food safety certification
- Basic math and counting skills
- Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Duties
- Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
- Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
- Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
- Safely use a variety of utensils including knives
- Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers
- Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use various cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
- Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines
- Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers
- Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation
- Ensure security of company assets
