The Cook role at Hotel Terra and Teton Mountain Lodge plays a vital part in delivering memorable culinary experiences for guests. Working closely with the Executive Chef, the Cook is responsible for preparing a variety of high-quality dishes including appetizers, salads, banquet items, and a la carte selections. This position requires the ability to manage mise en place setup and oversee the service of one a la carte station per shift, ensuring that the food is presented impeccably and meets the hotels’ rigorous quality standards. Cooks also assist with banquet preparation and production, working as an integral part of a collaborative culinary team to deliver timely and delicious meals for events and daily operations. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience working in a professional kitchen
- strong work ethic and reliability
- ability to stand for extended periods
- flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to lift heavy items and perform kitchen tasks
- commitment to following hotel policies and procedures
