Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience working in a professional kitchen
- strong work ethic and reliability
- ability to stand for extended periods
- flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to lift heavy items and perform kitchen tasks
- commitment to following hotel policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- previous cooking experience in a similar role
- knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong attention to detail
- teamwork and communication skills
- culinary school certification or equivalent training preferred
- passion for creating quality food experiences
Job Duties
- work alongside the Executive Chef to create memorable food experiences
- prepare appetizers, salads, banquet items, and a la carte dishes
- manage mise en place set-up and service of one a la carte station per shift
- assist with banquet preparation and production
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operation
