The Cook I - LandShark position at Stonebridge is a full-time, non-exempt role, offering an hourly pay rate of $15. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, this role is crucial in the successful culinary operations of the hotel. The cook plays a hands-on role in preparing and cooking a variety of food items adhering strictly to the hotel’s quality standards and recipes. The position demands versatility, as the cook will assist in diverse culinary settings including breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, and room service.
This role prioritizes food consistency, safety, and presentation, making it imperative that the candidate has a strong foundation in cooking techniques and food handling practices. - Associate's degree in culinary arts or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- Six months to one year of related experience and/or training
- Safe Serve/Food Handler's certification required
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions
- Ability to use cooking metrics and conversion methods
- Experience in high-paced kitchen environments
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
