The Cook 1 position at BHC is a vital role within the culinary team, responsible for preparing and presenting vibrant, flavorful dishes that uphold the brand's commitment to quality and guest satisfaction. In addition to technical culinary skills, the role demands strong communication and collaboration abilities, with responsibilities extending to assisting management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and motivating kitchen staff. This position requires adaptability to varying business volumes, including high-demand periods and late-night service, as well as the ability to maintain composure under pressure. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in restaurant or hotel kitchens, possess a Food Handler Certification (with ServSafe certification preferred), and demonstrate proficiency in knife skills and kitchen machinery operation.
