The Heart & Vascular Specialists Clinic, part of this renowned health system, focuses on delivering specialized cardiovascular care with a patient-centered approach, integrating cutting-edge technology and expert medical staff to improve patient outcomes.

This role of Cook I within the Heart & Vascular Specialists Clinic is a full-time position based in Fort Worth, Texas, designed to support the daily nutritional and operational needs of two physician practice locations. The position entails working 40 hours per week, primarily during daytime hours Monday through Friday, with a unique schedule that includes a morning start and early release on Fridays. The Cook I will be responsible for preparing meals, managing food supplies within an allocated budget, and ensuring a clean and well-stocked kitchen environment in support of clinic staff and patients.

The role is critical in maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and dietary compliance, contributing to a positive and healthy workplace. Additionally, this position entails significant responsibilities for grocery shopping and supply management, including managing purchases for both clinic locations and ensuring cost-effective procurement. The Cook I will also be expected to travel up to 50 percent of the time to supporting clinics within the Fort Worth area, with mileage reimbursement provided for travel expenses.

Beyond cooking and food preparation, the role includes maintaining scheduling for meal services and adhering to cleaning protocols in the kitchen and dining areas to guarantee compliance with health and safety standards. Some laundry duties are also integrated, ensuring that linens and kitchen textiles are properly cared for. This comprehensive position plays an essential role in supporting the wellbeing of both patients and clinic staff by providing nutritious meals and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a commitment to quality food service. Experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
