The position available is a full-time, non-management culinary role located on-site at the resort. The culinary associate will have access to advanced training through a partnership with Rouxbe culinary school, offering curated online culinary education to help build and refine skills. The culinary associate will be responsible for preparing special meals and managing food products, ensuring proper handling such as thawing foods in refrigerators, and regulating oven, grill, and roaster temperatures. This includes controlling portion sizes, food presentation, and maintaining quality and quantity of meal preparation. The role involves keeping detailed food records, communicating with team members during busy periods, and reporting excess products and special menu dishes to the kitchen management. There is an emphasis placed on ensuring food safety and quality standards are met consistently.

This position also involves assisting management with staff hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and motivating employees while serving as a professional role model. Culinary associates will ensure compliance with company safety policies, report workplace hazards, and participate in safety training and certifications. Maintaining proper uniform and personal appearance falls under professional conduct requirements. The culinary associate will engage positively with guests, anticipate service needs, and use clear, professional communication with team members. Cultivating and maintaining positive working relationships to support team objectives is integral to the role.

Physically, the role requires standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods, as well as bending, stretching, and lifting objects up to 25 pounds independently. Flexibility and the ability to execute various reasonable supervisory or operational duties assigned by supervisors are also needed.
