The position of Food and Beverage Culinary team member at the EDITION Hotel located at 9040 W Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood, offers a full-time opportunity in a non-management capacity with competitive hourly wages ranging from $33.28 to $34.28. This role demands proficiency in preparing and cooking food following precise recipes, quality and presentation standards, and meticulous food safety protocols. Responsibilities include preparing special meals or substitute items, regulating cooking equipment temperatures, managing food thawing and storage practices, and ensuring correct portioning and appealing garnishing of meals. Monitoring food quality and quantity, maintaining food logs, and communicating effectively with chefs and front-of-house staff about menu specials or out-of-stock items are also key tasks. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to assist management by serving as a role model to employees and supporting a cohesive team environment driven by positive reinforcement, coaching, and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards. The physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds, and other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors.
