We are currently seeking a talented Cook to join our energetic and passionate team. The Cook will serve as the culinary expert responsible for preparing and supervising food across multiple outlets including our restaurant, café, room service, employee cafeteria, and banquet services. This role demands a culinary craftsman who maintains high standards of food quality, portioning, and presentation. You will take charge of the kitchen’s efficiency, ensuring smooth, prompt operations while delivering outstanding dining experiences to guests. As a Kitchen Captain, you will lead and support kitchen staff, promote excellent communication, and proactively resolve challenges to maintain seamless kitchen operations.

Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience or a culinary graduate with at least 1 year of experience in a hotel or related field
  • Food Handlers Certification required and must comply with State requirements
  • Able to work effectively under pressure, maintaining composure while quickly evaluating situations and determining best course of action
  • Strong communicator who listens actively to understand concerns raised by coworkers and guests and effectively conveys ideas and solutions

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary graduate or equivalent experience
  • At least 1 year of cooking experience in a hotel or related field
  • Food handlers certification compliant with State requirements
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities
