Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food handlers permit
  • Previous prep or line cook experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work in high heat and restrictive kitchen environments
  • Commitment to safety and security protocols
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous prep or line cook experience
  • Knowledge of food preparation, short orders, and banquet food service
  • Understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
  • Effective communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Basic cooking and knife handling knowledge
  • Food handlers permit

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items according to recipes and established standards
  • Assist team members as needed, embodying the "ONE TEAM. ONE VISION." philosophy
  • Adhere to hygiene policies and ensure cleanliness of work areas and equipment
  • Follow food preparation plans to optimize productivity
  • Obtain and act on feedback regarding food and service quality
  • Practice safe and sanitary work habits
  • Comply with federal, state, and brand regulations
  • Report safety hazards and maintain kitchen safety and security
  • Perform additional management-assigned duties to support hotel operations
