The Cook I role at Vision Hospitality Group is an integral part of delivering outstanding dining experiences to guests. The primary responsibility of the Cook I is to prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring that each dish meets the high expectations set by the company. This position requires hands-on involvement in all aspects of food preparation, station setup, and kitchen maintenance. The cook must demonstrate flexibility and a team-oriented mindset by assisting other teams when needed, fully embracing the "ONE TEAM. ONE VISION." philosophy. The role demands a strong commitment to hygiene, safety, and food handling protocols, with daily inspections of work areas and equipment cleanliness a fundamental duty. Candidate must be familiar with various cooking procedures, including short orders and banquet service, and be able to adapt to a fast-paced, high-heat kitchen environment. Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure are essential traits for success in this role.

A Cook I at Vision Hospitality Group contributes directly to the guest satisfaction that defines the restaurant experience. Their tasks include following company training and standard operating procedures, engaging in internal growth programs, and actively participating in property-specific brand standards. They are expected to maintain a clean and organized workstation, restock items efficiently, and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately. The cook will work collaboratively to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and brand regulations, consistently maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service. Vision Hospitality Group values associates who are responsible, honest, and respectful, and who exhibit humility and integrity in their work.
