One of their premier properties, the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa, offers a unique Northern California experience characterized by luxurious accommodations, beautiful garden spaces, a resort-style pool with a splash bar, and several lively dining options that highlight local ingredients and premium wine pairings. Located near famous wineries such as Robert Mondavi Winery and Castello Di Amorosa, this hotel also boasts a Napa conference center with over 22,000 square feet of meeting and event space, making it an ideal destination for business travelers and leisure guests alike.
Sage Hospitality Group is currently seeking a full-time Cook I to join their culinary team at the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of food quality and safety that guests expect from a top-tier hotel and resort. The Cook I will be responsible for preparing food items according to recipe cards, production requirements, and quality standards, ensuring a safe and sanitary work environment at all times. The position requires an individual who is able to work independently, maintain precise control over food portions, adhere to proper food storage and rotation procedures, and assist in managing food costs and waste.
The Cook I position offers an hourly wage range between $20.50 and $21.50, reflecting the skill and dedication expected in this role. This non-tipped position demands physical stamina for lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working in varied temperature conditions within the kitchen environment. Additionally, the role emphasizes the importance of teamwork and communication, requiring the ability to follow verbal and written instructions efficiently.

Employees receive opportunities for personal and professional development and enjoy a variety of benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, participation in a 401(k) plan with employer matching, employee assistance programs, and exclusive discounts across Sage properties.
This role suits individuals passionate about culinary arts and hospitality, who take pride in crafting high-quality dishes that contribute to memorable guest experiences. As a Cook I, you will play a key role in the overall success of the hotel’s food service operations, working alongside a talented culinary team to ensure guests enjoy consistent, delicious meals in a welcoming atmosphere. If you are an independent thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives on challenge and creativity, Sage Hospitality Group invites you to consider joining their dynamic team at Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa.
