The role of Cook I within GCE is a pivotal position responsible for preparing, portioning, cooking, and presenting various food items across multiple meal periods such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events. The Cook I must execute these tasks with accuracy and efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality and food safety. Duties may vary depending on the business needs of specific client accounts, allowing for varied experiences within the same role. This position demands adherence to recipes and menu instructions, proper interaction with customers, government personnel, subcontractors, management, and fellow team members, ensuring a professional and collaborative working environment.
Physical and mental demands are an essential consideration for the Cook I.
