Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be fully conversational in English
  • 1 to 2 years of culinary experience in a fast-paced restaurant
  • Must successfully obtain ServSafe Certification or equivalent within 30 days of hire
  • Knowledge of cooking procedures, safety, and sanitation
  • Able to lift 35 lbs or more
  • Ability to support other cooks and work in a team environment
  • Must be mobile and able to stand for long periods, stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Must be available to work varied hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and bad weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Fully conversational in English
  • 1 to 2 years of culinary experience in a fast-paced restaurant demonstrating entry-level cooking skills such as prepping, grilling, frying
  • Must successfully obtain ServSafe Certification or equivalent within 30 days of being hired
  • Knowledge of cooking procedures, safety, and sanitation
  • Able to lift 35 lbs or more
  • Ability to support other cooks and work in a team environment
  • Must be mobile and able to stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Must be available to work varied hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and bad weather conditions
  • Flexible schedule

Job Duties

  • Work in OTG's prep kitchens and/or on the line of OTG's fast-casual concepts
  • Support the back of house by prepping ingredients for BOH lines
  • Prepare food to correct temperature, portion size, and plating for consistent presentation according to OTG standards
  • Control the quality of all food items per OTG specifications and restaurant directions
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, and kettles
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned
