The Laundry Attendant role at PAH Management is essential to the smooth operation of the hospitality services provided by the company. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in hotel or related field preferred
  • Ability to stand for entire shift
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
  • Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly
  • Flexibility to work long hours when required
  • Physical stamina for medium work tasks

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hotel or related field preferred
  • Ability to operate laundry machines and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good physical stamina for standing and lifting
  • Knowledge of stain pre-treatment methods

Job Duties

  • Operate washing machines and dryers according to standards
  • Load and unload washes as per guidelines
  • Wash and dry all dirty linens, towels, and rags
  • Sort hotel linen by type, color, and size
  • Pre-treat stained linens before washing
  • Clean dryer filters daily and maintain equipment
  • Operate irons following safety standards and shut off after use
  • Sweep and mop laundry floors
  • Fold towels and linens
  • Remove and sort dirty linens from carts
  • Keep laundry carts clean and free from debris
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area
  • Sort clean laundry by type and load carts
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction through quality laundry service
