Job Duties

  • takes direction from the Head Cook in the assigned kitchen
  • prepares food for the school utilizing standard operating procedures developed by the Food and Nutrition Department to safely and nutritiously feed students and staff
  • adheres to cashier standards of operations, reporting, and maintenance
  • follows systems utilized to maintain compliance with all regulatory agency requirements
  • operates all equipment according to standard operating procedures for safety and efficiency
  • serves as a contact at the assigned school for issues that may arise and reports all issues to the Head Cook timely
  • helps prepare a monthly inventory when needed under the supervision of the Head Cook
