Job Requirements

  • Ability to take and pass Food Service Sanitation course within 90 days
  • Meet all Intermediate Cook requirements
  • Knowledge of mother sauces and derivatives
  • Knowledge of seasonal soup recipes
  • Competence in braising techniques
  • Proficient in all kitchen stations
  • Maintain station decorum regardless of business level
  • Ability to butcher meat and fish
  • Advanced vegetable preparation skills
  • Understanding of curing techniques
  • Ability to work in smoke-filled environments
  • Ability to stand and sit for long periods
  • Obtain and maintain PA Harness license

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a cook in a high-volume environment
  • Knowledge of sauces, soups, braising, and butchery
  • Ability to operate multiple cooking stations
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to complete Food Service Sanitation course
  • Familiarity with safety and health regulations
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and work flexible shifts

Job Duties

  • Consistently demonstrate superior customer service skills
  • Maintain upbeat and positive attitude with guests
  • Prepare all food orders including meat, fish, and poultry in a timely manner
  • Operate various cooking stations and equipment
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas
