You will be expected to measure and assemble ingredients carefully and utilize various cooking techniques such as grilling, baking, frying, broiling, and microwaving to prepare meals according to menu specifications and special dietary needs. The Cook will also conduct regular cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and ensure all food temperature checks are completed accurately prior to service. Safety and sanitation are always a priority, with responsibilities including compliance with sanitation regulations and proper labeling and storing of food products.

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities but requires professionalism, strong collaboration skills, flexibility, and the ability to manage stress in a busy kitchen environment. Working conditions include exposure to heat, steam, humidity, and potential hazards like cuts or slips. Physical demands include standing for long periods and handling items up to 50 pounds, often requiring repetitive hand and wrist movements. The position typically involves long hours with frequent weekend shifts and occasional travel for meetings.
