Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • One to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ServSafe Certification preferred within 6 months of hire
  • Ability to work flexible hours including full-time, part-time, or per diem shifts
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to comply with hospital health and safety policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • Ability to follow detailed cooking instructions and dietary restrictions

Job Duties

  • Prepare patient meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas and equipment
  • Assist with dish duties and ensure timely cleanup
  • Follow food safety regulations and ServSafe guidelines
  • Coordinate with Food & Nutrition Services team members to meet meal schedules
  • Monitor food inventory and storage conditions
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures for food service
