- Prepare, season and cook food for hospital patients, employees and visitors
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Use manual and electric kitchen utensils and equipment
- Read and follow menus, work schedules and prices
- Operate standard kitchen machinery
- Interact effectively and courteously with patients, visitors and staff
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen area
