Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Food Handler's Card (State of Kansas) required
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or high-volume prep environment preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen protocols
- Must pass a physical exam and meet all vaccination and TB screening requirements
- Must be dependable, organized, and available for weekend or holiday shifts

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals following approved recipes and dietary requirements
- Complete ingredient prep including portioning, slicing, and measuring for upcoming meals
- Ensure all meals meet proper temperature, texture, and presentation standards
- Keep workstations clean and organized before, during, and after each shift
- Sanitize equipment and surfaces and complete scheduled kitchen cleaning tasks
- Assist with plating and meal service during high-volume periods or special events
- Label and rotate leftovers and thawed items following food safety guidelines
- Monitor and report supply needs, equipment issues, or food quality concerns
- Support kitchen teammates with communication, collaboration, and a can-do attitude
