Job Requirements

  • Cooking experience required
  • Ability to work full-time or part-time schedules including every other weekend
  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to adhere to all safety and sanitation standards
  • Physical ability to perform food preparation and kitchen duties
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures consistently

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production delivery and service schedules
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning ensuring food is at the correct temperature and attractive
  • Tastes all prepared food items
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records from working areas
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and orderly ensuring proper food storage
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning record keeping and reporting as required
  • Assists in ordering and receiving all food and supplies as needed
  • Reports maintenance issues faulty equipment or accidents promptly
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers customers administrators and managers
  • Performs job safely maintaining a clean safe work environment
  • Ensures proper presentation portion control and serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • Commits to personal safety and the safety of others
  • Adheres to company policies including use of gloves oven mitts slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques
  • Performs other assigned duties as needed
