The company is hiring both full-time and part-time cooks immediately, with schedules that include weekends and cover hours from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. The role of Cook at Fresh Ideas involves preparing food in accordance with federal, state, and corporate guidelines while delivering quality food service consistently. The cook will be responsible for following standardized recipes to ensure that high-quality meals are prepared efficiently and served either directly or prepared for delivery, maintaining appropriate temperature, portion control, and presentation standards. Essential duties include maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations such as HACCP standards, and properly handling kitchen equipment. The cook must also assist with inventory tasks such as food ordering, receiving, and stock maintenance, while actively participating in safety meetings and communication within the team environment.   • cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures

  • assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required
