We are currently hiring a full-time Cook for our Bank of America location at 4161 Piedmont Parkway, Greensboro, NC. This position offers a fixed pay rate of $18.00 per hour with a full-time schedule from Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. This role is ideal for individuals with grill and back-of-house (BOH) line cooking experience who are passionate about food preparation and eager to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

The Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items, following standardized recipes, and ensuring that all meals meet established production, delivery, and service schedules. Attention to detail is crucial, as the role requires the Cook to maintain food at the correct temperatures, ensure portion control, and provide meals that are both attractive and delicious. The Cook will also be required to follow proper ticket collection procedures during service periods, sanitize and maintain kitchen cleanliness, handle safe storage and disposal of food, and assist in production planning and inventory management.

In this role, the Cook must operate and maintain kitchen equipment with care and report any faulty equipment or safety concerns immediately to their supervisor. Maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment is paramount, alongside attending mandatory in-service and safety meetings. A key component of this position is adherence to all company policies and safety protocols, such as using protective gloves when handling sharp tools, wearing slip-resistant footwear, and employing safe lifting techniques. The successful candidate will develop positive working relationships with coworkers, administrators, and managers, fostering teamwork and efficient kitchen operation.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of grill/BOH line cooking experience
  • ability to work full-time Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • willingness to follow company safety protocols and use required personal protective equipment
  • ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • legal authorization to work in the United States
