Job Requirements
- One year of prior culinary experience required
- must be a U.S. citizen able to verify citizenship at time of hire
- ability to work full-time in shifts from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm
- compliance with federal national security employment requirements
- ability to safely handle kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness
- commitment to safety protocols including use of gloves, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes
Job Qualifications
- One year of prior culinary experience
- ability to prepare food in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- strong organizational and time management skills
- ability to maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
- good interpersonal skills to work with coworkers and management
- U.S. citizenship
Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- serve meals or prepare for delivery ensuring correct portioning and proper temperature
- taste all prepared food items for quality assurance
- use established ticket collection procedures during service
- clean kitchen after preparation and serving maintaining high cleanliness standards
- store or discard excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
- operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed
