Job Requirements

  • Prior high-volume scratch cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to work full-time schedule Friday through Tuesday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares food for delivery using correct portioning and maintaining proper temperature
  • Tastes all prepared food items to ensure quality
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment or accidents promptly
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers
  • Performs job safely maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control and serving temperature
  • Follows HACCP standards and company safety policies including appropriate glove usage and slip-resistant shoes
  • Performs other duties as assigned
