Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary training or certificate or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Food Handler’s Permit or ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • Minimum five years of professional cooking experience in healthcare, school or institutional food service, or commercial dining

Job Qualifications

  • Prepare high-quality, visually appealing meals for patients and staff
  • Follow therapeutic diet orders, texture modifications, and behavioral health safety protocols
  • Support menu preparation, food production, and presentation standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment
  • Assist with inventory, food preparation, and teamwork across the dietary department
