Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to work full time Monday through Friday with varying hours
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and use protective gear
  • Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • Prior cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and food preparation guidelines
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards including HACCP
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of protective equipment

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery ensuring correct portioning and temperature
  • Tastes all prepared food items for quality assurance
  • Cleans kitchen and work areas maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • Maintains refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
