Job Requirements

- food service experience and techniques
- knowledge of infection control procedures
- ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- ability to multi-task and prioritize
- ability to communicate well verbally and in writing

Job Duties
- Prepares and serves planned meals for clients living in the Community Residence
- takes direction from Team Leader/Residence Manager and keeps him/her informed regarding content of workload
- communicates with kitchen staff regarding Quality Assurance
- performs general kitchen and stock work as well as monitors equipment and supplies
- maintains a sanitary and safe workstation and participates in Quality Assurance activities
- maintains an inventory of food and kitchen equipment
- ensures inventory is adequate to meet the menu plan
